If you sell to customers in Turkey, you do not need to negotiate with Turkish carriers yourself: at FulfillmentTR, discounted shipping rates come built into the fulfillment service. The door-to-door rates we negotiated on the strength of our total parcel volume apply to you from your very first order — no minimum volume, no annual commitment, no Turkish-language carrier contract to sign. All prices on this page are in Turkish lira (TRY) and exclude VAT. Instead of spending weeks collecting quotes, you send stock to our warehouse and get storage, packing and shipping in one package, on one invoice.
Our Discounted Shipping Rates
Our discounted shipping rates start at 80 TL for parcels up to 3 desi, door to door within Turkey, applied to every fulfillment client with no extra conditions (TRY, excl. VAT). Where most providers hide pricing behind “request a quote”, we publish the tariff openly:
| Desi Range | Shipping Fee (TRY, excl. VAT) |
|---|---|
| 0–3 desi | 80 TL |
| 3–5 desi | 100 TL |
| 5–10 desi | 125 TL |
| 10+ desi | Custom quote |
Cash on delivery — still a major payment method for Turkish shoppers — costs 25 TL per parcel, plus 2% on the portion of the collected amount above 1,000 TL. Not sure which band your product falls into? Use our desi calculator. For 10+ desi or bulk shipments, contact us for a volume-based quote.
Warehouse + Shipping Under One Roof: How It Works
In the warehouse-plus-shipping model, your products are stored in our facility; when an order comes in, picking, packing, weighing and labeling all happen in the same building, and the parcel is handed to the carrier the same day. The process runs in four steps:
- You ship inventory to our HQ warehouse in Gebze Bilişim Vadisi (Turkey’s technology park, near Istanbul) or to our Tepeören warehouse on Istanbul’s Asian side; stock is received with barcode scanning, and your first inbound shipment is received free of charge.
- Your Shopify store and Turkish marketplaces — Trendyol, Hepsiburada, Amazon TR, N11 — connect to a single stock pool; orders flow in automatically, and integration is free.
- Each order is picked by barcode, packed in standard packaging and labeled at the weigh-and-label station with the correct desi.
- The parcel goes out to the carrier the same day, and you follow tracking in real time from your English-language client panel.
Returns stay under the same roof too: returned parcels are received, inspected, restocked when sellable and reported in your panel (return processing 9 TL per return, excl. VAT). See our e-commerce warehousing and order packing pages for the full picture.
Your Own Carrier Contract vs. Fulfillment Shipping
For sellers with low or fluctuating monthly volume, fulfillment shipping is usually the better deal; a direct carrier contract only starts to pay off at high, stable volume. Here is the honest side-by-side:
| Criteria | Your Own Carrier Contract | Fulfillment Shipping |
|---|---|---|
| Volume threshold | Most carriers expect a monthly minimum before offering meaningful discounts | Same tariff from your first parcel |
| Commitment | Typically an annual contract with volume commitments | No commitment, pay as you go |
| Operational load | Packing, labeling and carrier handover are on you | The whole operation is handled in our warehouse |
| Price transparency | Depends on quotes and periodic renegotiation | Tariff published openly |
There is an extra hurdle for international sellers: Turkish carriers typically negotiate in Turkish and expect a local billing entity, which makes direct contracts impractical for most cross-border stores. How to Negotiate a Carrier Contract in Turkey
To negotiate your own carrier contract in Turkey, start by documenting your monthly parcel count and average desi profile — carriers build their quotes on those two numbers. Even if you never work with us, these steps will strengthen your hand:
- Pull your last 3–6 months of parcel counts and desi distribution; without them you cannot compare quotes.
- Request written quotes from at least three carriers and clarify whether prices are door-to-door or drop-off at a branch.
- Ask about minimum volume commitments and what happens if you fall short.
- Get periodic price increases, fuel surcharges and extras (address changes, redelivery) in writing.
- Always ask what a return shipment and an undeliverable parcel cost — a line item e-commerce sellers often miss.
Expect the process to take weeks, in Turkish, and expect near-list prices at low volume. If you would rather skip all of that, our published tariff is live from day one — see our cross-border e-commerce guide for how international sellers get started, or write to info@fulfillmenttr.com.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are there any setup, software or integration fees?
No. Membership, the client panel software and marketplace integrations are completely free; you only pay the per-use tariff for the services you consume.
What exactly is a “desi”?
Desi is the volumetric weight unit Turkish carriers bill by, calculated from your parcel’s dimensions in centimeters. Our desi calculator (linked above) converts your product dimensions into the correct price band in seconds.
Do you support cash on delivery (COD)?
Yes. COD costs 25 TL per parcel plus 2% on the collected amount above 1,000 TL (excl. VAT) — an important conversion lever, since many Turkish shoppers still prefer paying at the door.
Do I need a Turkish company to use these rates?
Requirements depend on your sales model — selling on Turkish marketplaces versus your own store. Our cross-border guide walks through the options; if you are launching a storefront, see selling in Turkey with Shopify, or email us with your setup.
Which warehouse do my orders ship from?
From our Gebze HQ warehouse, our Tepeören warehouse on Istanbul’s Asian side, or our Bursa Kestel OSB facility — details on the Istanbul fulfillment page.
